Breathable Mesh Upper
The upper of the Mizuno Wave Mujin 10 has been created with a lightweight and breathable mesh upper. The lightweight material works as a second skin for a barely-there feel, allowing air to circulate while removing built-up heat, keeping you cool and comfortable throughout your run. The mesh is highly durable and can withstand scrapes, knocks and trail debris, this is further enhanced by overlays across the toes and to the side which also protect the feet. The overlays provide additional structure and support helping to hold the foot in place for a secure fit. Finishing the upper is a traditional lacing system that locks down the midfoot and reduces in-shoe movement for distraction-free strides.
Mizuno Wave Midsole
Mizuno's Mujin 10 midsole has been created with a Wave Midsole. This dual-density midsole combines a lighter and more responsive foam with firmer foam. The wave structure provides flexibility in one direction and support in the other enhancing stability without sacrificing cushioning. The shoes use Mizuno's Enerzy compound, which has been used throughout the bottom midsole to provide excellent cushioning and energy return, helping you to put the miles in. While the upper midsole uses the firmer U4icX. This compound is still light and provides extreme comfort but works to dampen shocks and reduce fatigue so that you can train for longer. The combination of the two foams in the wave construction helps to reduce stress on the joints, reducing the risk of injury whilst helping to put a spring in your step with its high energy return.
Vibram Megagrip Outsole
Completing the shoes is a Vibram Megagrip Outsole. The high-performance rubber compound offers unparalleled sticky grip and optimal ground adaptability, allowing you to tackle tricky terrain easily whether the surface is wet or dry. The durable rubber offers rugged longevity providing unprecedented grip hike after hike and trail after trail.
