Join Accelerate and Topo Athletic for the third edition of OcTOPOfest—a week-long celebration of community running, trail adventures, shoe testing, and social events across Sheffield!
Open to All Abilities!
Whether you’re taking your very first steps off-road or you’re a seasoned trail runner, you are welcome here. Every run is led by qualified, experienced run leaders whose priority is making sure you have a fantastic, stress-free time. We run at a social, welcoming pace with regular stops to regroup—no one ever gets left behind. Come for the miles, stay for the smiles!

Monday 12th October | Accelerate Landmark Run (6km)
Time & Location: 6:30pm @ Accelerate Shop (629 Attercliffe Rd, S9 3RD)
The Vibe: A social, history-packed evening run exploring local landmarks past and present. As the dark nights roll in, our friends at Petzl will be joining us with demo headtorches so you can light up the night!

Tuesday 13th October | ATR Bradfield Trail Run (8–10km)
Time & Location: 7:00pm @ Bradfield Cricket Pavilion, The Sands, S6
The Vibe: Join the Accelerate Trail Runners (ATR) crew for a friendly twilight trail run set against the stunning backdrop of Bradfield. Expect a relaxed pace with frequent regroup stops under the night skies.

Wednesday 14th October | Abbeydale Pub Run + Quiz Night (5 Miles)
Time & Location: 6:30pm @ Abbeydale Beerworks Taproom (298 Abbeydale Rd, S7 1FL)
The Vibe: We’re teaming up with the Abbeydale Brewery Run Club for a fun 5-mile social run, followed by the official OcTOPOfest 3 Pub Quiz! Expect great laughs and fantastic prizes up for grabs from Accelerate, Topo Athletic, and Abbeydale Brewery.

Thursday 15th October (Morning) | WoodRun Technique Session
Time & Location: 9:30am @ Woodland Discovery Centre, Ecclesall Wood (S11 9NW)
The Vibe: Master your form with a specialized technique session led by our experts. Includes accessible drills and mobility exercises focused on running posture, efficiency, and stability.

Thursday 15th October (Evening) | ATR Rivelin Trail Run (6–7km)
Time & Location: 6:30pm @ Rivelin Park Café (S6 5FE)
The Vibe: Soak in the breathtaking autumnal trails of the Rivelin Valley. A friendly, welcoming group run with plenty of stops to pause, chat, and take in the scenery.

Friday 16th October | Running Past 50 (RP50) Group Session
Time & Location: 10:30am @ Accelerate Shop (629 Attercliffe Rd, S9 3RD)
The Vibe: Celebrating our active masters running community! Enjoy a gentle canal-side social run combined with light mobility drills. Speed doesn't matter here—it's all about moving well, sharing laughs, and enjoying the outdoors together.

Saturday 17th October | Specter Speed Workshop & In-Store Tech Day
Time & Location: 10:00am @ Accelerate Shop (629 Attercliffe Rd, S9 3RD)
The Vibe: Start the morning with Stu’s popular "Speed Development through Intervals" workshop. Afterwards, head into the store where Topo Technical Rep Ross will be on hand all day to offer expert fitting advice and answer all your footwear questions!

Sunday 18th October | Peak District Coffee Run (Grand Finale)
Time & Location: 9:00am @ The Strines Inn, Mortimer Road (Bradfield Dale, S6 6JE)
The Vibe: The grand finale of OcTOPOfest 3! Take in sweeping Peak District views with a scenic trail run starting from the historic Strines Inn. Choose between a 10km route or a shorter 6–7km option. We’ll wrap up the week together with hot coffees, treats, and post-run catch-ups.
