A grippy outsole, a cushioned midsole and with a highly draining upper. The new Supertrac Amphib is designed around the classic Supertrac RC but with a quick-drying mesh upper, making it ideal for runs when you are going to be in and out of the water and want your feet to dry quickly.
Best use: If you are running off road and think you might get wet feet the Supertrac Amphibs are for you. Whether that’s fell running, cross country, swim-runs or tough mudder give them a try.
Upper: Using an airmesh material that has great breathability and drainage while still being very durable to cope with the toughest terrain you can throw at it. Thermoplastic is used through the heel to add an extra level of support and overlays are stratigaclly placed to keep your feet secure in the shoe.
Midsole: The same midsole used in the Supertrac RC 2, Scott use their AeroFoam+ midsole with eRIDE geometry to help roll you forward with every stride. It’s light, responsive and cushioned, everything you want from trail running shoe.
Outsole: 6mm lugs in a radial pattern cover the forefoot for maximum traction and reversed lugs on the heel are there to help when coming downhill giving you the confidence to push no matter the conditions.
Scott says “The new SCOTT Supertrac Amphib is our first shoe specifically designed for multi-sport use whenever you come in contact with water. Be it obstacle course races, fell running, orienteering or exploring coastlines and rivers the radial traction outsole will give you confidence and the ultimate traction on those wet terrains. Additionally, the KPU upper provides rugged and highly durable protection while maintaining excellent levels of drainage. The Supertrac Amphib is your best ally for any sport, whatever the conditions.”
