Saucony Xodus Ultra is designed to go long. It boasts a wide fit, heaps of plush cushioning and is incredibly light, A shoe you could spend all day in.
Best use: Trails, long or short, technical or smooth and rolling the Xodus Ultra excels at them all. As part of the Saucony Xodus lineup, the Ultra now uses a new 6mm drop, improved fit with a super stretchy upper, and a new PWRRUN pb centre and PWRRUN cradle midsole.
Upper: A super-light elasticated mesh through the forefoot allows your feet to splay on longer runs. A plush and structured heel counter keeps you locked down and stable in the shoe. A partially gusseted tongue wraps around your foot for comfort and to keep trail debris out.
Midsole: For the first time in a trail shoe Saucony are using their latest super foam, PWRRUN pb. Along with a PWRRUN cradle frame wrapping around the outside of the shoe. A rock plate runs through the forefoot of the shoe to offer extra protection on technical trails.
Outsole: A 3-piece PWRTRAC outsole with 4.5mm deep lugs gives you incredible traction on uneven terrain while increasing the flexibility for a smoother feel.
