Best use: The Saucony Peregrine is the ultimate Door-to-Trail shoe. Having received some major updates this time round it still maintains everything you have come to know and love but with a few sneaky extras. They are ideal if you want one pair of shoes that can take you from connecting roads to remote parts of the peak district.
Upper: This is where you will notice the biggest changes. Now using a more durable upper, the strong dual-layer engineered mesh holds your feet secure while still being very breathable. A reduced amount of overlays in the toe allow your feet space to splay and not be restricted.
Midsole: Using a full PWRRUN midsole that gives just the right amount of cushion without compromising on the ground feel or responsiveness of them. A full length Rock-Plates offers added protection from sharp rocks and unwanted debris on the trail.
Outsole: 4mm deep, chevron shaped PWRTRAC lugs are the perfect blend of traction and grip. They grip in mud going both up and down thanks to opposing positioned lugs while giving you traction on harder packed trails and roads thanks to having a wider surface of each lug. A great all-rounder.
