The Kinvara 14 from Saucony has received a complete overhaul for version 14 of the shoe. With a new lightweight upper, and more midsole cushioning the Kinvara 14 is a shoe that can go both fast or be used for your easy miles.
Best use: Still with a foot in the door to run fast the Kinvara 14 maintains a lightweight feel but with a higher depth of cushioning for going longer. It’s a shoe that can do almost anything now, from slower easy miles, to faster reps its feels at home the whole time.
Upper: Saucony has stripped the upper right back for this model. It has the same feel as the Endorphin Pro 3. An incredibly lightweight mesh that’s highly breathable is used with a padded heel for a secure fit and feel.
Midsole: A full PWRRUN midsole combined with a PWRRUN+ topsole give it a plush yet responsive feel. The addition of a rocker helps push you onto your toe for a faster foot strike when you want to get moving.
Outsole: An exposed outsole keeps the overall weight of the shoe right down and with a small amount of rubber at the toe and heel to keep the shoe as durable as possible.
Saucony says “SPEED, PURE AND SIMPLE. Want to hustle harder? Go the distance faster than ever in the new Kinvara 14. Tailored with a lighter-than-ever feel, it’s got enough PWRRUN foam cushioning and security to handle an extra mile or ten.”
