The best of both worlds is exactly what you get in the Saucony Canyon TR2. A smooth and cushioned ride for when you are on the roads, combined with a grippy outsole when you want to take it to the trails. A new updated upper for version 2 makes them even comfier to keep mile after mile ticking by with ease.
Best use: When you just can’t choose between the road or trails the Saucony Canyon TR2 really comes into its own. A smooth and stable ride on the road with plenty of cushioning to keep you feeling fresh for when you want to head onto the trails. Small lugs give you just the right amount of grip for heading off the road and onto the trails. Perfect for round parks or on hard packed ground.
Upper: This is where you will find the biggest changes, a completely redesigned upper from its predecessor. The comfortable and sleek engineered mesh upper is reinforced with a thin, flexible 3D-printed film for added protection and durability from mud and debris. The heel area has also seen some changes, it’s been built up for more stability and added protection. Saucony has even managed to use recycled materials in the upper, winner!
Midsole: The Canyon TR2 doesn’t see any changes here from version 1. Using a PWRRUN midsole for a cushioned and smooth ride. A PWRRUN+ topsole gives that extra added layer of cushion and plushness, so you get that “oooo, lovely” feeling every time you put them on.
Outsole: 3mm deep PWRTRAC lugs are the ideal blend of grip when you are on the trails, but without compromising on your experience when running on the road.
Saucony says “Road to rugged. For trails, roads, and everything in between, the Canyon TR2 is the perfect crossover. With springy PWRRUN cushioning and low-profile trail features, you can bag miles anywhere and any way you like.”
