Saucony Ride 14 Run Shield

Price: £135.00

Do you ever wish you had a shoe for those cold winter months? Well, Saucony has done just that in the form of the Ride 14 Run Shield Edition. Keeping all the parts that make a Ride a Ride but with some beefed-up extras.

  • Winter and weatherproof road running shoe
  • 8mm drop (32mm/24mm)
  • 266g in men's size 8UK

Best use: One of our favourite daily trainers, whether you have just started out or are training for a marathon the ride will help keep the miles flying by. Made even better by keeping winter weather out, using Sauconys new RunShield.

Upper: A redesigned upper giving a sock-like fit that's even more locked in and secure than before. The combination of this and the new RunShield material keeping even the worst of the cold winter weather out. Low light-reflective elements on the upper help keep you safe even at night or on early morning runs.

Midsole: A full PWRRUN midsole gives you the right amount of cushioning allowing you to go as far as you like without making the shoe feel heavy and clunky. Just giving you an ideal "ride".

Outsole: Beefed up for the RunShield edition is the grip on the Ride, now using a COLDTRAC rubber in a chevron pattern, this provides enhanced traction even on wet and cold surfaces.

Saucony says "There’s nothing “everyday” about our go-to neutral running shoe. With its springy PWRRUN cushioning and lightweight feel, the Ride 14 is a sure shot to make every run a good and fast one. Add a sock-like fit that you don’t have to think twice about, and you have a shoe that lets you lace up and get right down to business."
