The new and improved Wave Rider 27 from Mizuno. It uses a new upper for a better fit and increased stability through the heel collar. While still using the same ENERZY midsole that’s a great blend of comfort and responsiveness.

Upper: Version 27 sees a completely new upper, its seamless design wraps around the foot for a secure yet unrestrictive feel. Increased stiffness through the heel collar has helped improve the stability of the shoe. More than 90% of the textiles used in the upper are recycled!
Midsole: Using Mizunos ENERZY Foam throughout the shoe, it blends cushioning and comfort while still being responsive enough when you want to push the pace. The Wave Plate that is sandwiched in the midsole running from the heel to the forefoot helps to stabilize the foot, disperse shock and aid in a faster transition onto the forefoot.
Outsole: High-wearing X10 carbon rubber covers the sole for great durability and traction.
