Best use: The tougher the better the Mutants perform. Using La Sportivas Frixion rubber for lots of grip, a cushioned midsole for long miles and a durable upper the Mutants are right at home in the hills and mountains.
Upper: A single-layer abrasion-resistant mesh wraps across your foot and the integrated gaiter that hugs the lower part of the ankle keeps you secure in the shoe and any debris from the trail out.
Midsole: An injection moulded EVA midsole offers a great level of cushioning and still gives you a springy toe-off.
Outsole: Using La Sportiva’s own Frixion White rubber, a super sticky compound, with the 6.5mm lugs that grip to pretty much anything.
