Say hello to the latest Carbon plated racing shoe to join the lineup here at Accelerate, the new Carbon X2 from Hoka. Designed to go fast, for everyone. Hoka have kept much of the shoe the same with its Profly midsole and carbon fibre plate. However, now with a new upper for an improved fit and comfort.

Best Use: Designed for race day the Carbon X2 is light and cushioned while incredibly explosive thanks to its carbon fibre plate. Its high level of cushioning keep the miles flying so your feeling fresh even at the end of your race.
Upper: Revised for this version of the shoe Hoka a now using an even lighter and more breathable material. A gusseted tongue wraps seamlessly around your foot for an improved fit and lockdown.
Midsole: Wow, Hoka has really nailed this part of the shoe. Using a dual-density PROFLY foam, it’s both cushioned for the landing yet firm enough for the transition phase and the carbon plate give you the extra “ping” when taking off. The result a super smooth ride.
Outsole: To save weight in the Carbon X2 Hoka have used a rubberised EVA, that teams, up as both the cushioning and the grip.
