The Glycerin has always been Brooks’s plushest road shoe for a long time, V20 doesn’t stray from this tradition. However, they have been almost completely redesigned. Now using a Nitrogen infused midsole to not only be plush but responsive.
Best use: Whether you are heading on a long slow run or wanting to push the pace, the Brooks Glycerin feels right at home, the more miles the better. Using Brooks’s latest DNA Loft V3 midsole with a whopping 34mm of it the Glycerin is designed for comfort.
Upper: Using a new engineered air mesh upper which offers a secure fit while being highly breathable. Your feet are comfortably held in place. A padded heel adds an extra layer of comfort making them the kind of shoe you forget is even on your feet.
Midsole: The cushioning on the Glycerin 20 has seen the biggest changes. Now featuring nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3, cushioning that is optimised to be lightweight, responsive and durable with plush comfort. Now slightly wider than before to create a stable platform under you.
Outsole: With plenty of high wearing covering the sole for traction in the wet and to maximise the durability of the shoe.
Brooks says “The story of the Glycerin begins in the late 1990s — From early HydroFlow, to our newest nitrogen-infused DNA LOFT v3, the Glycerin always features our most innovative cushion tech. The newest version gives runners ultimate softness underfoot in every stride thanks to the specialized nitrogen-infusion process used to create DNA LOFT v3. As we continue to grow options through support and fit, we see the Glycerin line continuing to be a favourite among runners.”
