The Kinvara from Saucony has been around for so long it is almost impossible to imagine life without them. This is the 12th iteration of a popular shoe that when introduced set the standard for the new ideas behind 'lower drop' and 'lightweight' everyday training shoes.

This version maintains that tradition. It is further stripped back through the upper and gains the new 'dovetailed' heel. The midsole remains pretty much as in version 11, which for many has been a hit. It will be a little firmer and therefore a touch more responsive.

So Who is the Kinvara12 For?
This is what we think...
Lightweight, responsive training immediately springs to mind with the Kinvara12. That is in the traditional sense of shoe design.
It is a step away from the Saucony Endorphin range, like wise it is a step away from classic traditional training shoes like the Ride. So a shoe finding the middle ground with adavntages for all.
For those enjoying the delights of the Endorphin range will find the Kinvara12 a much firmer ride. The advantage is that it will compliment your training in so much you will have to work that little bit harder, you will also maintain foot and ankle strength. Technique will also be tested as you will be doing more of the work. All of which is no bad thing.
For those taking a more traditional stance with their training shoes then this could still be an everyday training shoe - just a touch firmer than previous versions. It will also prove to be a terrific racer in so much that it will be responsive and just feel 'pingy'.
