Big News for DIG Deep

Breaking news from Dig Deep HQ!

Ian Loombe, a driving force behind Dig Deep since day one, has been offered the opportunity to expand his outdoor business in Europe and would be crazy not to jump at the chance.

What this means for Dig Deep:
In the early days, under the Big Running Weekend banner, Ian worked alongside Stuart Hale at Accelerate to develop the original event.  Having re-branded as Dig Deep in the meantime and separated from Big Running Weekend, developing the event independently, the Dig Deep weekend has gone from strength to strength.
So, when Ian needed to hand over the races, Stuart Hale was his first port of call.

We are super excited to announce that Stuart, along with Laura Inglis from Accelerate Performance Centre, are stepping into Ian’s shoes - as event directors and are getting the ball rolling for 2019’s races!

Due to the above handover taking place recently (and at a pace), the new Accelerate Running Events website will be taking online entries from mid-January (contrary to what you might already have read).  So, watch this space for news about the website’s official launch…

For the time being, you can pop into the Accelerate Store and fill out a paper entry if you wish.

After listening to your feedback and discussing the options, we are going to run three races, all on Saturday 21st September 2019 from Whirlow Hall Farm.  These are:  The Trail Ultra 30, the Trail Ultra 60 and back by popular demand…. The 12.12!

We want to thank you for your support and patience, while wishing Ian the very best of luck in his new venture.

 See you in September!
