Trail Ultra 30:Peak District
A definite challenge, yet accesable for anyone who is training for their first Ultra or looking to step up to something longer.
49km (30 miles) and 1388mt (4554 ft) of ascent the Trail Ultra 30:Peak District makes an ideal race to enter for your first ultra. It is testament to the race that seasoned runners return year after year. It must be the great trails and views across the Peak District.
The event starts and finishes at Whirlow Farm Hall in Sheffield, where there will be camping available Friday night (at a cost of £5 per tent, must be booked in advance). Toilets and changing facilities are available on site, and there will be food and drink available to purchase. There is plenty of parking available on site.
The route will be marked in places but navigation/a good knowledge of the area will be necessary. Sport ident dibbing stations will be in place along the route, each of which must be visited, along with the manned aid stations.
