HIGH5
HIGH5 were an instant and popular choice of Team Partner for Team Accelerate, with many of the Team having worked with this British company before.
HIGH5 will be supplying all of the Teams sport specific nutrition products including those for energy and endurance, protein and recovery and various gels, sports bars and accessories.
Energy Source will be used during training and competition as it is rapidly absorbed and highly stable in the stomach, even during intense effort. Ideal for events lasting longer than 60 minutes the Team will be using a variety of differing flavours. Energy Source is also a great addition to any carbo loading programme. As the temperature 'hots' up the Team will use Isotonic as this is allows a good mix of energy absorption and importantly speedy rehydration. Critical to the Teams longer event will be the HIGH5 Energy Gel. This delivers fast energy and range of nutrients to aid absorption and muscle function. In order to maximise recovery the Team will be using HIGH5 Protein Recovery. Recovery is a re-building process, where your body is re-fuelled and damage to muscle & connective tissue is repaired, making it stronger in the process. EnergyBars have a proven balance of simple and complex carbohydrates for both fast and sustained energy and will also be used by Team Accelerate.
