49er_Jerry - I am a recreational runner, with a very strong leaning towards off road running. I'm not fast, and approach running very much as a fantastically fun thing to do. I'm not into racing, PBs and other performance related aspects of running. A great result from a 'race' or event is if the run has been enjoyable. My ideal day out is running over the hills and returning with sense of fulfillment and achievement.
I came to running relatively recently. My background is in competitive national and international sailing, mixed with numerous old style Polaris Challenges.

Simply, just loves to run. Moans about roads, preferring the mud and slopes of the fells, especially the Peak District.
acracer - Bikes and not bikes. Often decaff, sometimes real. Mountains, trees and oceans. Sunshine and rain. Dogs, sharks, Android phones. Part science, part art. Sport.
Helen - I am a Sheffield based fell runner and mum to two crazy kids. I started running cos I didn't have time to go climbing, and then a did a Bob graham round ( makes sense eh. but love the short fast races( Edale show race is my favourite). I have improved my running a lot over the last few years culminating in winning the Gritstone series two years running but now with Stu and Debs help I am trying to up my game and compete in this English and British Championships.
Houghboy - Running. Films. Films about running. It's all good.
